Garage Sale for International Students Entering the University of Tsukuba in October 2019

A garage sale for international students who are entering the University of Tsukuba in October was held at the University Hall on September 30. This event was organized by student supporters of 'Ask Us Desk' of the University at which peer support is given by Japanese students and supported by the Division of Student Exchange. Many daily necessities and appliances were donated to international freshers for free by members of the faculty and staff.

With a long line before the opening, around 180 international students visited and almost all items had been taken until noon. The event ended on a high note. We appreciate the kind support of the faculty and staff. Thank you for your continuous support.

'Ask Us Desk' intends to continue to hold exchange events between international and Japanese students after October.
