Minister Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco visits Vice President BENTON
A delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Japan led by Mr. Mohammed MESKAOUNI, Minister Plenipotentiary made a courtesy visit to President NAGATA, Vice President for Global Affairs BENTON Caroline F., Professor ISODA Hiroko of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (Director of the Alliance for Research on the Mediterranean and North Africa (ARENA)), Specially Appointed Professor NAKAJIMA Mitsutoshi of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, and Professor MORIO Takahiro of the Office of Global Initiatives. They exchanged opinions on the promotion of academic research exchange between Morocco and the university.
Regarding the collaboration with Morocco, we have a track record of joint hosting between the Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS), which is led by Professor ISODA as a representative researcher, and Japan-North Africa University Summit. In the exchange meeting, based on these achievements, a discussion on the prospects for academic exchanges was made.
