High-Level Delegation Led by Emilia-Romagna President Stefano Bonaccini Meets with President NAGATA

On November 15, 2023, a delegation of 41 people from the Emilia-Romagna Region, led by President Stefano Bonaccini, visited the University and met with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President IKEDA Jun (Global Affairs), Executive Officer OHNEDA Osamu (Director-General, Bureau of Global Initiatives), Director SAKURAI Takeaki (Office of Global Initiatives), Professor NISHIYAMA Hiroyuki (Institute of Medicine), Professor SAKURAI Tetsuya (Institute of Systems and Information Engineering), and Associate Professor KAMEDA Toshihiro (Institute of Systems and Information Engineering).

During the discussion, they reviewed the past exchanges between the University of Bologna and the University of Tsukuba, expressing their expectations for the promotion of exchanges between the Emilia-Romagna Region, Tsukuba City and the University of Tsukuba. Further cooperation and collaboration with institutions in the Emilia-Romagna Region are expected in the future.
