University of Tsukuba Signs MoU with National Taiwan University and Université Grenoble Alpes to Establish Trilateral University Center

On October 4, 2024, University of Tsukuba signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Taiwan University and Université Grenoble Alpes to create a Trilateral University Center. The signing ceremony took place on the final day of Tsukuba Global Science Week (TGSW).

President NAGATA Kyosuke of University of Tsukuba, President Wen-Chang Chen of National Taiwan University, and President Yassine Lakhnech of Université Grenoble Alpes, participated in the ceremony. After the signing, a plaque unveiling marked the official launch of the center.

Each university will appoint a Director to oversee joint educational and research initiatives, strengthening the strategic partnership between the institutions.

The universities are key partners in the University of Tsukuba's Campus-in-Campus (CiC) initiative, and the center will further enhance collaboration efforts. Through the CiC framework, University of Tsukuba aims to continue its contributions to the global academic community.
