Opening up the Future through Art & Sport

University of Tsukuba is a comprehensive university with a wide range of academic disciplines, including art and sports, which are among the best in Japan. Art includes works based on sports and performance art involving physical movement. In sports, there are also a number of competitions, such as figure skating, in which artistry is highly valued. This symposium will clarify aspects of the nexus between art and sports, and disseminate the activities of this university, which has research and educational organizations in Art and Physical education, both inside and outside the university.
