On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the University of Tsukuba, we will launch the Tsukuba Universal Alumni Network (TUAN) to promote overseas alumni associations and alumni networks, and strengthen ties with the university. TUAN will build a collaborative system between the university and overseas alumni associations, and with the university’s support, TUAN will provide mutual assistance to overseas alumni, provide benefits to overseas alumni, and support current international students. At this event, candidates share their memories of when they were at school, their current situation, and their thoughts on the University of Tsukuba to current students on site and international alumni online who will be the audience and TUAN officers (representative and vice-representatives) will be decided by election on this day. The President will also share his vision of the University’s present and future, connecting the University of Tsukuba’s past, present, and future.
